The reconstruction of Balsam Street between Old Simcoe Road and Rosa Street involves converting this road from a rural cross section to an urban cross section. The work includes removal of the existing surface and granular, road widening, installation of storm sewers, sanitary sewer, and water main, curb and gutter, and installation of new sidewalk on the north side of the road. Construction is expected to be completed by late August, 2022.
For residents who received a notice from the Township:
Please review the design drawings - links to the drawings can be found on the right-hand side of page. Please note that minor changes may occur as we progress to finalizing the design

During construction:
no parking along Balsam Street (please use driveways)
do not approach the construction crews as they are adhering to strict health and safety procedures
access to homes will remain available
localized detours and/or traffic delays will be in effect during the construction period
