Static Butterfly Craft

Materials

  • Construction paper
  • Tissue paper
  • Glue
  • Googly eyes
  • Balloon

Instructions

  1. Cut out a body shape for your butterfly out of construction paper
  2. Cut out two wings from the tissue paper
  3. Glue only the sides of the wings to your butterfly body
  4. Decorate your butterfly
  5. Blow up your balloon and rub on your head, clothes or carpet then wave over the wings
  6. The butterfly wings will start to flap
