Proposal: The purpose of the Draft Plan of Subdivision application is to subdivide the lands for 12 industrial lots with private services and future public services. The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to redefine portions of the Environmental Protection (EP) Zone to Prestige Industrial (M1) and General Industrial (M2) Zones as well as to rezone certain lands in the northwest portion of the subject site from EP Zone to a General Industrial Special Exception (M2-X) Zone to permit an automobile storage yard as an additional permitted use.

Status: Comments from internal departments and external agencies have been sent to the applicant to address in another submission. The Township continues to accept public comments before a recommendation report will be brought before Township Council.

Public Meeting: A virtual public meeting was held on February 21, 2023 to provide interested parties the opportunity to learn more about the proposed applications and provide comments and questions. No decisions were made at this meeting. Interested residents can watch a video recording of the public meeting via the Council and Committee Meeting Calendar Page on the Township’s Website. Click on the Planning & Community Affairs Committee meeting on February 21, 2023 and select the Video option in the pop-up window.
