Multi-Year Accessibility Plan Public Consultation

The Township of Scugog is committed to hearing from you about how we can improve the accessibility of our programs, services, and facilities. Your input is valuable and will help to shape our 2023-2027 Multi-year Accessibility Plan. What do you think should be included in this plan?

Under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), standards were developed in five areas. These standards help to identify what must be done to eliminate barriers for people with disabilities. A decision that ultimately helps us all.

The five standards are:

1. Customer Service
2. Information and Communication
3. Employment
4. Transportation
5. Design of Public Spaces
