Proposed Plan of 3 Storey High Back to Back Townhomes at King St and Simcoe St. This needs to be turned down by Township Council. Such a disgrace for a High Density Townhome development as the southern Gateway to Port Perry. Concerns Feb 14th, 6:30
Downtown Queen street if often closed on weekends during the year for events. Whenever these events are going on, I stop shopping in the downtown part of town, and go to another place (Oshawa, Uxbridge, Whitby). Covid or not, its a bad idea
Township does a great job with what little you have.

I look forward to constructive responses from the Township, and would ask that you also post all questions received per project on the respective project page, along with Township responses, for transparency.
I think this is a great forum for people to have input and engage in public consultation especially for those who cannot attend town meetings.
If streets are running East West, put sidewalks on North side of the streets, Reason; In winter the Sun being low on the horizon the shadow of the houses that are close to the side walk south side will cover same, result slippery side walks.
Years ago I met with Township management regarding street improvement prioritization. I found the software used was inappropriate. Software garbage in = garbage out. Priority matrix needs significant overhaul with resident input and transparency.
I look forward to using this portal to engage with projects, share ideas, and stay in touch. I run a Facebook Group called Scugog Island Neighbours, and we're always trying to keep residents up to date with what happening in the community.
