Queen Street will be open to vehicular traffic between John and Perry Street and the on-street parking would still be available on the south side of Queen Street in this area.
In addition to other municipal parking lots in the downtown area, parking is also available on weekends being the municipal office building at 181 Perry Street and behind the Visitor’s Centre on Queen Street. In addition, 5 temporary accessible parking spaces will be provided along Perry Street and Water Street to replace the existing accessible parking spaces that would be temporarily unavailable along Queen Street. These efforts are intended to help make downtown Port Perry a safe place to walk, shop and eat.
